What to Expect

Join me at a beautiful workshop space in Nottingham for a three hour workshop. This session will focus on handsewn patches. Beginner friendly. 

❋ Structure

We will look at some embroidery stitches and come up with patch designs, then turn them into reality! We will use denim and scraps and create patches for all sorts of uses.

❋ The Space

This is a space for you to lose yourself for a few hours, time just for you. A place to create and meet like minded folk.

❋ Freedom & Play

These sessions are all about the joy of making, and the magic of creating something with your own hands.

❋ The Making

I will provide all the materials, and we will leave with new skills, ideas, and a hand stitched patch.

 ❋      Details

  • Date: Wednesday 19th August. 6pm - 9pm.

  • This workshop is open to all ages.

  • Price: £30 per person.

  • This will be a three hour session, with a break in the middle.

  • Drinks and snacks provided.

  • The Studio is in Nottingham.

  • Parking is nearby

  • This session is for all abilities.

  • All materials provided.

The workshop where this will take place is a beautiful space run by Martin and Carly.

At By Our Hands, Martin and Carly have create a space to accompany, to gently nurture & surprise: To build a ramshackle bridge, improvised & invisible, out of art, experience and whatever else is handy, for folk to balance on & leap from: shaping the world together in meaningful ways whatever our perceived abilities.
